Tri-Tech Pinnacle Group Inc. is a company that specializes in providing roofing and building envelope consulting services. We deal with all types of roofing and building envelope systems and products. Our services include but are not limited to roof condition reports, specifications, a full range of inspection services, a full range of testing services and infrared thermography.
Tri-Tech Pinnacle Group is currently seeking an accounting/administrative assistant to perform AR/AP accounting duties and project administration within the organization. This position reports to the Accounting/HR Manager.
**Responsibilities**
- Transfer job information from project software to accounting software for client invoicing.
- Review jobs in project software to ensure information is complete and job status is up to date.
- Prepare reports for management and clients using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Set up new customer and vendor information in the accounting system.
- Generate all customer invoices & monthly statements and send them to clients.
- Respond to client inquiries and requests for insurance and WSIB certificates.
- Input vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Schedule and prepare vendor payments for signing.
- Prepare Visa entries to book in accounting system and match with receipts.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Provide administrative assistance to reception/office admin upon request.
- Back up for Accounting/HR manager.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum two years’ experience in AR/AP role.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. French would be an asset.
- Post-secondary education
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task to ensure timely completion of work.
**Hours of Work**:
- Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- May be required to attend company events outside regular hours of work**.**:
- Dress Code: Business casual.
