Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Category Coordinator on a temporary (approximately 7 months) basis. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK.

If you enjoy developing category plans using category analytics for local Co-ops, then this is the right opportunity for you

**What you’ll do**:

- You will assist Category Managers with category reviews and product assortment planning to maximize category growth.
- You will introduce new products, planograms, and innovative merchandising by utilizing business intelligence tools.
- You will provide analysis on potential growth categories using market intelligence and internal data to meet business objectives driven by KPIs and annual goals.
- You will create and execute pricing strategies to remain competitive, maximize margins and provide analysis on targeted categories.
- You will be required to travel 1 - 2 weeks annually.

**Who you’ll work with**:
The Team: You will work closely with Category Coordinators and the Zone Team and will report into the Category Manager. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, problem-solving and team building.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

- You have a University Degree in Marketing or General Business.
- You have 1 - 3 years of relevant experience. Retail experience with a preference for Hardware or Building Materials would be an asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- You have intermediate experience in excel.
