We are seeking a skilled and experienced Training and Development Manager to join our Pan Pacific Vancouver team. As the Training and Development Manager, you will be working closely with our Human Capital & Development Director. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our associates to advance our brand reputation. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our associates are equipped with the necessary skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive overall business success in the luxury market.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

**The key responsibilities of the Human Capital & Development Manager include but are not limited to**:

- ** Develop and implement training programs tailored to the specific needs of our various front-of house and heart-of-house associates.**:

- ** Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.**:

- ** Design and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.**:

- ** Collaborate with all leaders to identify training objectives and align them with organizational goals.**:

- ** Provide leaders with one-on-one coaching, as required.**:

- ** Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to support the learning process.**:

- ** Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.**:

- ** Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in training and development to continuously improve our programs.**:

- ** Monitor and track associate progress and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure skill development and performance improvement.**:

- ** Champion to ensure luxury standards are met and provided to all guests.**:

- ** May include additional tasks and responsibilities as required.**:
**SELECTION CRITERIA**

**Qualifications and Technical Experience**
- **
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.**:

- ** Proven experience in the luxury hotel industry with a strong understanding of its unique challenges is required.**:

- ** Previous experience in the Training & Development field is an asset.**:

- ** Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.**:

- ** Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously..**:

- ** Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.**:
