**Full Time Position: Office Administrator**
St. Margaret’s Bay Massage Therapy is seeking a reliable individual to take on an administrative position who can collaborate with our team of healthcare practitioners. We are located in Head of St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia. Our goal is to improve the lives of the members of our community by providing quality care with our combined over 100 years of experience
**Role and Duties**:
- Greet patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Prepare office daily for clients and staff
- Billing and receiving payments
- Filing paperwork
- Payroll and bookkeeping skills an asset with Quickbooks
- Cleaning of reception area bathroom, kitchen, laundry and treatment rooms
- Follow up with patients about booking appointments
- Communicate with insurance providers regarding insurance policies.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma
- Verbal and written competency in English
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Flexible with hours of availability
- Willing to learn, and always have a positive disposition
- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
- Must be very detail oriented and organized
- Previous experience in a healthcare clinic is an asset
- Must have good communication skills
- Positive attitude, time management, organization and attention to detail are all assets for this position
**Compensation and Hours**
- Rate of pay $18-20/hour to start depending on previous experience in industry
- 32 - 40 hours / week
