**Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator, University Relations**:
**PRIMARY PURPOSE**: The Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of stakeholder and alumni engagement programs aligned with engagement priorities and the mission, vision, and values of the University of Saskatchewan. This position also provides primary administrative support for the University of Saskatchewan Retirees Association (USRA). This position is a key supporting role in building stakeholder affinity, deepening relationships, and increasing engagement with the university.
**NATURE OF WORK**: Reporting to the Director, Alumni Relations and External Engagement, the Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator will work on a.4 FTE basis to support the University of Saskatchewan Retirees Association (USRA), including administration, project coordination, relationship building and communications tailored to the needs of the USRA. The Coordinator will work on a.6 FTE basis to support a portfolio of alumni engagement programs, focused on advancing the mission of the university and the goals outlined in the University Relations strategic plan.
As a member of the Alumni Relations and External Engagement team, the Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator will work collaboratively with professionals within University Relations to support and facilitate the delivery of strategic stakeholder engagement activities.
Strong interpersonal skills, a high level of motivation, client focus, cultural sensitivity, creativity, and problem solving will be required to establish and maintain relationships that support exceptional collaboration. Confidentiality and discretion are required as the position handles sensitive information. Consequence of error is significant for the university and its reputation and relationships with stakeholders. The role may involve work outside of the university’s normal operating hours.
University Relations is responsible for institutional advancement programs (Alumni Relations, Development, Strategic Communications, and Operations and Services), and as such is dedicated to supporting the related needs of all colleges, units and the university as a whole. University Relations is comprised of specialized teams that work together as an integrated team to ensure that the University of Saskatchewan has the reputation, relationships, and resources necessary to take its place among the most distinguished universities in Canada and the world.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**University of Saskatchewan Retirees Association (USRA)**:
- Liaise with and provide administrative support for the University of Saskatchewan Retirees Association (USRA), including preparinga variety of documents, reports, correspondence, presentations and packages as required in an accurate and timely manner.
- Serve as project administrator for conferences, events and meetings.
- Receive and triage incoming inquiries, creating a positive experience for all contacts, and independently make judgements on how to direct those inquiries appropriately.
- Support the coordination and implementation of engagement strategies.
- Execute day-to-day small project coordination tasks, assignments, and milestones.
- Conduct research to support various writing and editing tasks.
**Alumni Relations and External Engagement Programs**:
- Represent University Relations and the University of Saskatchewan in all contacts, ensuring the right tone, interest and messaging are projected, addressing issues and concerns, and maintaining appropriate confidentiality of information and materials.
