Academic Research Associate at the University of Saskatchewan

The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan is seeking a Research Assistant to support community-university research projects focused on gender and sexuality studies.
This role is part of the SSHRC Partnership Development Grant, The Social Innovation Lab: Mobilizing Cultural, Legal, and Political Engagements with Gender and Sexuality.
Key responsibilities include engaging with community partners, assisting with ethics applications and study design, and providing logistical support for project and partners.
Qualifications include a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a social sciences or related discipline, and registered and in good standing in a graduate program at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Saskatchewan or the University of Regina.
Experience with coordinating social science research and working with community partners is required, while experience with the ethics process, knowledge mobilization, and event planning/logistics would be an asset.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional oral and written communications skills, a track record of building and sustaining productive relationships, and the ability to work well with others and independently.
