Clinical Affairs Manager

The Clinical Affairs Manager is an RN or and RPN responsible for leading assessment, care-planning and care provision for our clients. You will do so by collaborating with a dynamic team of caregivers while being supported with a strong management team. This position will enable to learn about and implement a broad range of clinical areas, thereby enabling you to grow professionally, as well as personally, while make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

What you’ll do:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of clients and develop care plans.
- Maintain client records showing systematic assessments, planning interventions, and evaluations.
- Follow standards to monitor and evaluate excellence in areas related to client service.
- Manage investigations and documentation related to patient and caregiver safety.
- Conduct site-visits with clients and caregivers for quality assurance and compliance.
- Coach, mentor, train and provide clinical support to caregivers on an ongoing basis.
- Support caregiver recruitment and retention programs.
- Using strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, their families and caregivers.
- Lead the implementation of existing and new clinical programs (such as dementia program). projects (e.g. Gaitway) and new projects (e.g. ISO certification).
- Maintain the knowledge and skills required to provide safe, efficient and effective service by keeping abreast of relevant legislative and policy requirements in the home care industry.
- Ensure compliance with our pre-established ISO 9001 Standard requirements.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary to meet the needs of the company
What you bring:
- Current RN or RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and entitled to practice without restrictions
- Superior verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills
- Commitment to professional development in clinical areas relevant to home care, including attending key conferences
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)
- Experience in leading and managing a team would be an asset
- Experience in using POC (Point of Care) system(s) would be an asset
- Working knowledge of French language would be an asset
Full time, part-time could be considered
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
