**Qualifications**:

- Solid understanding of technical concepts and terminology.
- Have excellent English writing and communicating skills.
- Comprehend complex information and translate it into concise and easily understood content.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Adobe suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop) and FrameMaker.
- Knowledge with electronics and the related terminology.
- Experience in technical writing or a similar field.
- Experience in the security or access control industry (an asset).
- Possess a Technical Writing Certificate (an asset).
- Bachelor’s Degree in communication or related field.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating user manuals and other documents needed to understand the functionality of the products.
- Creating and maintaining templates, style guides, and documentation standards.
- Edit complex technical documentation and concepts for clarity without changing key information.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of technical information.
- Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback to improve documentation.
- Updating and revising documentation to reflect product updates and changes.
