The Proposal Manager is accountable for the preparation and delivery of technical and commercial proposals to potential and existing North American customers for Rolling Stock, Services, Signaling and Turnkey Bids. With a team of 6 to 10 employees located across 2 sites, the Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the internal proposal process and for the follow-up activities within the bid management team to ensure a timely and quality response to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Information.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the Proposal Management activities and process during the preparation of the bid customer proposal
- Ensure Proposal Team coordinates the necessary meetings with other functions to achieve a sound proposal strategy and alignment with all involved functions
- Develop the proposal strategic vision and win themes with the Bid Management and with Sales and Marketing
- Ensure a proper capture plan for narratives are in place to enable the writers to have a clear strategy and efficiently delivering a high-quality proposal based on healthy assumptions
- Guide, coach and manage the Proposal Team in proposal activities for the entire bid cycle
- Ensure the respect of mandates received are presented in an appealing way to the customers.
- Manage the Proposal Team, assign tasks, mobilize the resource, develop skills, and balance the workload
