**Technical Writer **to

**Location**: St. Laurent, QC(Remote)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare, review and maintain documentation in the form of administrative guides and procedures, technical and operating instructions, process descriptions and flows, system specifications, IT policies & standards.
- Prepare, review and maintain end-user resources and educational materials, including knowledge articles, FAQ’s, user guides, videos and tutorials.
- Produce documentation in support of IT RFP (Request for Proposal) for engagements from external providers.
- Gather and analyze technical and process information from various sources to document new or changing system functionality.
- Write, format, edit and proof procedural and technical information for technical and nontechnical users.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation to meet deliverable dates
- Create, publish and maintain templates for documentation to ensure a consistent presentation.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University degree or College diploma in a Communications field or Technical field.
- At least 3 years of professional work experience in technical documentation.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, with an attention to detail and an aptitude for understanding and explaining technical information.
- Experience creating graphics to aid communication of technical details or processes.
- Prior experience working within the IT industry is a strong asset.
