The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Ministry of Skills Training, Employment, and Post-Secondary (STEPS). The Assistant manages calendars, makes travel arrangements, manages inquiries from the regional STEPS team, coordinates internal and external meetings, manages meeting organization, prepares meeting materials, records minutes, and tracks and follows-up on related action items as required. This role also involves organizing sensitive correspondence, maintaining filing systems, processing mailouts for projects, and performing various administrative tasks like photocopying, scanning, and record-keeping while ensuring confidentiality.
