Job Description:
Tri-Energy Services, a leading provider of innovative project solutions, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest industry standards. Qualifications:

- Proficient in the use of Bluebeam Revu, Spoolfab, and Navisworks Software.
- Ability to read and understand P&IDs and ISO drawings.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
- Experienced with construction codes such as ASME B31.1, B31.3, ASME BPV Sec I, Sec VIII Div.1, CSA W47.1/W59, CSA Z662.
- Ability to develop vessel repair procedures for gas plant facility equipment such as exchangers, towers, boilers etc.
- Familiarity with document control processes.
- Ability to train supervisors on QC procedures.
- Proven experience in managing internal QC programs.
- Capable of initiating and maintaining job files.
- Skilled in creating Inspection Test Plans, contractual documents, and turnover packages
- Proficient in overseeing shipping and receiving processes.
- Excellent ability to oversee QCI(s) within the organization.
- Comfortable representing Tri-Energy during client and regulatory audits.
- Competent in reviewing bids, job scopes, and client specifications.
- Strong understanding of Weld Procedures and details.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Full-time local work with occasional part-time availability.
- Willingness to travel to locations occasionally (40 field/60 shop).

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections at various stages of the production process to identify any defects, deviations, or non-conformance issues.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and other testing equipment to verify product dimensions, mechanical properties, and performance characteristics.
- Record and document inspection results accurately and timely in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the production team to address any quality issues and suggest improvements in processes to enhance overall product quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in quality control.

**Requirements**:

- Strong understanding of quality control principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and defects.
- Solid knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Review and markup Isometric drawings prior to releasing for fabrication.
- Record weld mapping
- Develop and build Quality Turnover packages.
- The preferred applicant will be local to Red Deer/Sylvan Lake or be willing to relocate.

Preferred:

- CSA Welding inspector Level 1 (minimum) endorsed to ASME B31.3
- Journeyman welder or steamfitter-pipefitter ticket
- CWB Welding Supervisor - CSA W47.1/W59.

Pay Range determinate on experience and qualifications.

Please note that the position may require occasional travel to client sites.

**Salary**: From $60.00 per hour
