Cabinet Maker - Quality Control Specialist

At Closets by Design Niagara, we are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our production team. This role involves working with wood and other materials to create high-quality custom closets, garages, and home organizing systems.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual with prior woodworking experience, preferably in cabinet making or a related field. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for producing quality custom products while adhering to strict quality control standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality custom cabinets, shelves, and other wood products
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues with products, suggesting improvements to processes and designs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in woodworking or cabinet making
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
