**About us**:
McDougall Acres is family owned farming and grain processing operation located ten minutes east of Moose Jaw. We have a small team of employees working together in this busy environment. This role is part of an administrative team.

**Position Summary**:
This entry-level position is responsible for assisting in general office duties supporting the shipping and receiving of commercial grains and general administrative duties. This can be a challenging environment and work must be completed while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. General working hours will be in the period between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with some potential overtime.

**Duties**:
**Administrative Clerk Role (Primary)**:

- Greets visitors, ascertains the nature of their business and directs visitors
- Answers phones and redirects calls or takes/delivers messages
- Records meeting minutes
- Orders office supplies
- Prepares, distributes and collects recurring internal documents for the Quality and Safety programs
- Assists in the maintenance of the paper and electronic filing systems
- Assists with producer sample intake, storage and records
- Keeps office area tidy, including sweeping, sanitizing etc. when necessary

**Shipping/Receiving Clerk Role**:

- Prepares loading instructions from purchase orders and contracts
- Ensure product identification and accurate product labelling when assisting with shipping or receiving
- Labels and stores representative samples and assists in the management of sample inventories
- Assists with weighing trucks and overseeing loading or unloading (from an admin standpoint)
- Assists with data entry and data verification
- Assists with the preparation of supporting documentation for shipping and receiving activities
- Assists with the post shipping and receiving settlements

**Required Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel) with typing ability
- Some post-secondary education in business administration or equivalent experience
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work, with the ability to switch between tasks, changing focus, often
- Ability to perform in a busy atmosphere with occasional exposure to dust and loud noises
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to identify and complete work required
- Own transportation

**Qualifications that are considered an Asset**:

- Office Education Diploma
- Office experience
- Shipping & receiving experience
- Logistics experience
- Either grain processing or grain farm experience
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Valid Class 5 drivers license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
