Job Title: Orders Processing Clerk

Location: 60 Innovator Ave Unit 23, Stouffville, Ontario L4A0Y2

Position Overview: As an Orders Processing Clerk you are working on the backend for client orders and are responsible for understanding and meeting client expectations. You thrive under a fast-paced environment, are productive and work well under pressure. You are well organized and innovative. You communicate well with team members, understand the importance of workload balancing from a team perspective, and are not afraid to ask for help or reach out to help others.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Receive client orders daily via electronic ordering system.
- Verify client information on each order when received against the company database to confirm all contact information is correct.
- Verify that all merchandise purchased is in stock and priced correctly.
- Contact the client directly on each order when received and ask for clarification if there are questions regarding client information.
- Order deficiencies, return/exchange management.
- Collect payment for merchandise and record transactions.
- Enter order into the fulfillment system for processing, including shipping preparation; verify order is correct prior to shipment.
- Notify the client directly when orders have been delivered or if there is an issue with the order such as shipping delays.
- Answer customer service line and field customer questions.
- Inform clients of product backorder, or substitutions.
- File copies of orders received and completed.
- Utilize QuickBooks to create quotes which provide clients with a list of products they are ordering with an estimated cost including shipping.
- Keep track of licenses.
- Provision and licenses onto laptops.
- Communicate with Purolator for shipping purposes.
- Responsible for inventory management and tracking items on CRM.
- Communicate with vendors to order an item if our inventory is currently lacking the item.
- Document step by step instructions for any processes you are responsible for.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

**Education**:
University or College degree / diploma in a Business-related program

**Experience**:
Administrative/Clerical role: 1 year

- Knowledge of Quickbooks and CRM.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and reference in the IT field and/or relevant field(s).
