**Office / Book Keeper**

We are an established contractor located in Vaughan. We are looking for a hardworking and experienced book keeper to consolidate transactions and expenses on a weekly basis. If you have the right combination of work ethic, enthusiasm and take pride on your work, you are the right fit for us.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Construction related experience an asset.
- Experience in SAGE accounting software preferred.
- Payroll preparation every 2 weeks
- Collection of AR and AP and related duties
- Create purchase orders and invoices
- Must be proficient with computer use, including Word, Excel and data entry.
- Handling incoming call and other communications
- Help organize office common areas, and manage filing system
- Update paperwork, including documents and manuals.
- Prepare monthly job costing and other reports.
- Salary dependent on experience

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Technical Knowledge and Skills**:

- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping
- A minimum of 2 years' experience providing book keeper support. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Able to work independently, and solve problems as they arise.
- Strong administration skills and ability to organize and multi-task workload.
- Proficient in the use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
