- We are seeking a responsible _**Accounts Receivable Administrator **_to join our team at our Regional Office in Dartmouth, NS. This fast-paced position requires a dedicated team player who has a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail._
- **Accounting Responsibilities**:_
- _To learn the accounting processes for AR to be able to perform daily processing of Work Orders & Standing Orders to prepare client invoices and enter them into various Client Portals as required._
- _Prepare daily deposits & enter cash receipts._
- _Collections for outstanding receivables._
- **Administrative Responsibilities - **_Provide backup for the following:_
- Answering phones, greet visitors and employees, processing sick calls, mail distribution within the office, sending courier packages, typing as required, filing, etc._
- Backup for processing/distribution of Client Work Orders if needed._
- **Qualifications and skills**_- _
- _Diploma in Accounting or related field - preferred._
- _Good understanding of AR principals - required._
- _Strong communication skills (verbal and written) - required._
- _Strong organizational and time management skills, including the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines, independently and as part of a team - required._
- _Strong professionalism, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills - required._
- _Accounting experience in an office environment - required._
- _Experience in Microsoft Office and able to manipulate Excel spreadsheets is required._
- _Experience in Great Plains Accounting Program an asset._
