Accounts Receivable Clerk

**Parts for Trucks** has been an industry leader providing parts and service to the heavy-duty trucking industry for over 100 years. Operating 30 sales / warehouse outlets and 15 service facilities from coast to coast, **Parts for Trucks** offers a complete range of products and services for all makes of trucks and trailers.
We are currently seeking an experienced **Accounts Receivable Clerk** to join our growing team in our Dartmouth Head Office. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
**Details**:
- Reconcile customer accounts, monitor, and allocate unapplied cash, investigate charge backs, and short payments.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting Concentration) or similar post-secondary training, plus 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounts receivable position.
- Experience with computerized accounting systems required (SXe preferred), and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, quick and accurate data entry skills with the ability to process high volumes of data in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively with customers and other departments.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-orientated environment.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is not required but would be considered an asset.
