The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting escalated work and advanced technical requests/calls from Client Support Specialists or directly from hospital staff/physicians, specifically related to the Microsoft 365 solutions used across the organization. The Technology Support Specialist will also manage small projects related to their area of expertise. Work is delegated on a daily operational basis to Client Support Specialists to manage either work queues or project-related tasks.

Regular Full-Time

Rate of Pay: $31.36 per hour - $39.20 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a Two(2) year or a Three (3) year Community College diploma in Computer Science/Technology or Computer Networking
- A+ Hardware Certificate, MCSE or CNA preferred
- Minimum (3) year recent, related experience in a high volume computer support environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions, including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365Power Platform, recommended
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated problem resolution and troubleshooting skills and aptitude
- Demonstrated project leadership and management skills
- Demonstrated advanced technical and analytical skills
- Demonstrated strong organizational, record keeping, and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and be resourceful
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

**Immunization Requirements**:

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
