The Onboarding Analyst is responsible for onboarding new clients through various onboarding tools and administering client re-enrollments. This position will work closely with Group Sales to lead the onboarding process. This position will assist in the preparation of client and member documents including the production of agreements, amendments, booklets and online product summaries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists Group Sales in providing guidance to prospective clients regarding enrollment options.
- Lead the Group onboarding team.
- Promotes electronic enrolment tools to existing client base.
- Provides expertise to ensure a smooth implementation using enrollment tools (plan admin portal, BlueSync, Member Self Enrollment (MSE), electronic enrollment).
- Assists Client Services Analysts with enrolment tool defects and enhancements.
- Assists Group Sales with any enrollment inquiries.
- Assists Group Sales with client mailouts.
- Handle system and billing inquiries related to Group Maintenance.
- Create premium calculators for clients on request.
- Participates in the coordination, communication, implementation and rollout of system enhancements relating to onboarding enrollment tools.
- Participates in offsite meetings with clients and/or Group Sales.
- Enforce quality control measures:

- enrollment data
- beneficiary information
- first client bill
- conduct onboarding surveys and incorporating changes where needed
- Acts as backup for other roles within the onboarding team.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of procedure manuals related to onboarding.
- Participates as a member of various project teams for corporate and departmental projects/
- Assists in the production of group product agreements, amendments, booklets, online product summaries, brochures, and all necessary promotional materials (includes creation and printing of documents as required) and assists in the preparation of mass unilateral amendments.
- Assists in the extract of online product summaries to be posted to mybluecross web site and posts booklets in mybluecross plan administrator portal.
- Assists with maintenance, and improvements to G&C, GBA and Group Activity Database
- Supports and conducts research for projects related to product development
- Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Dedicated to the principles of exceptional service; committed to responding to, anticipating, and addressing customer needs, for both internal and external customers.
- Post-secondary degree, certificate or diploma in Business Administration or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education and 3 to 4 years’ experience in the insurance industry will be considered.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
- Self-directed, with exceptional organizational skills and a proven record of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks within varied and dynamic timelines on an ongoing basis.
- Possesses, or able to develop thorough experience, an understanding of Blue Cross Life administrative policies and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment with
