**Aviation Technical Records Administrator**
**Job Scope**
This position assists the Maintenance Department in maintaining proper inventory control by accurately computing, preparing, and verifying inventory data. This position will also execute the administrative functions of the maintenance department as required. The position reports to the Director of Maintenance and will work alongside the Aerospace Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance Procurement Administrator.
**Responsibilities**
- Process all daily aircraft records including technical logs, workorders, work requests, task cards for component changes and the required maintenance.
- Assisting in quality assurance of Work Orders and Purchase Orders for accuracy and processing.
- Collaborate with internal team members on corrections and/or missing documentation.
- Perform non-technical corrections.
- Data entry of aircraft flight time and cycles, including correction, collection and verification of aircraft journey log pages.
- Ensure the maintenance forecast always remains up to date with Cams by assisting in updates.
- Maintain the contents of the department digital database.
- Maintain archiving system by ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.
- Maintain Aircraft computer records and the related aircraft technical records in a current and up-to-date manner.
- Audit and file completed aircraft maintenance paperwork.
- Monitor, update, and maintain aircraft archives ensuring a state of organization and cleanliness.
- Audit all aircraft records for accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Reviewing Aircraft Labour cards monthly and verifying the status.
- Maintain and update tool calibration lists, and similar lists being supported by the maintenance team.
- Liaise with various departments to facilitate smooth documentation flow.
- Participating in internal and external audits.
- Other administrative tasks as required.
- Producing reports as required.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years in an Administrative Support role is preferred. Previous Aircraft Maintenance/Records Management experience is preferred.
- Effective Communication, Organization and Problem-Solving Skills
- Advanced Computer Skills including Microsoft Office (MS Teams, Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Physically fit; ability to lift to 25lbs., bend, lift, push/pull, climb, etc.
- Ability to travel occasionally between Hamilton Airport and Toronto Pearson to pick-up special-order parts, etc. (Mileage paid)
**Qualifications - Nice to Have
- Aircraft Technical Records experience or other related experience in Aviation is an asset
- Familiarity with aviation maintenance terminology an asset
- Experience auditing technical records to determine airworthiness compliance in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- Working knowledge of technical manuals including AMM, IPC & CMM.
