About the Role

Latitude Air Ambulance is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to assist the Maintenance Department in procuring and managing aviation parts inventory. This role is responsible for negotiating with suppliers, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to support our aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily order requests from the Maintenance Team and maintain regular communication with suppliers.
  • Perform parts order estimates, ordering, fulfilling, stocking, and invoicing.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to procure parts at the best market rate and identify high-impact cost reduction opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential buyers and suppliers to optimize costs and access new suppliers.
  • Apply knowledge of procedures for ordering special parts or parts with no published part numbers.
  • Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress, and contact suppliers to resolve problems.
  • Identify and acknowledge the receipt of warranty parts.
  • Prepare and process necessary documentation for purchases, returns, and warranty coverage.

Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma; preference given to candidates with post-secondary education in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 2 years in an Administrative Support role; previous aircraft parts procurement experience preferred.
  • Advanced Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to work at a fast pace under pressure.
