As the
**Connected Products Sales Manager**, you will identify and create new sales opportunities within the multi-family residential customer base for our Master Lock full suite of Connected Products across all of Canada. You will build a pipeline of potential opportunities by targeting end users and markets and will be the face of the organization to these potential customers.
You will demonstrate an inherent interest in understanding how the whole system works, and a strong desire to solution sell to existing and new customers. Success in this role is dependent upon delivering target sales numbers through building strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders. When appropriate, you will utilize the commercial organization to help close deals, and will partner with approved distribution partners, as well as leverage the existing teams to fulfill orders through distribution channels.
The
**travel overnight approximately 6-8 nights a month **and will have a track record of hunting and managing opportunities from inception to close.
This role is
**remote based** with preference to individuals in Greater Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, or the Calgary metropolitan areas and we are targeting a
**base salary of $80-100K with bonus opportunities**
**and additional benefits.**
**What you will be doing:
- Responsible for sales growth of connected products across the Canadian Market.
- Builds effective strategies and partnerships to gain market penetration and deliver growth.
- Highly collaborative with effect leverage of internal departments to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Documents all opportunities in the CRM and works with supply chain to manage inventory needs.
- Attends industry events and trade shows across Canada and the United States where required to support the strategy.
- Engages with peer distribution managers, distributor / dealer sales teams and end user managers on target opportunities.
- Responsible for product contribution margin attainment and enhancement on Connected products suite in Commercial segment
- Responsibly manages expenses related to travel and entertainment.
- Identifies and pursues high growth verticals and shares market trends and competitive activities to team.
**Qualifications**
- BA/BS degree or equivalent or demonstrated solution selling experience.
- Experience in technical hunter sales / business development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with corporate productivity (MS Word, Excel) and web presentation tools.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Collaborative and works well with others in creative problem solving and solution selling.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Able to travel up to 30% of the time across Canada with some travel to the United States.
**Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales experience in technical solution sales or connected products.
- Bilingual in French Canadian.
- Demonstrated track record of technical sales and closing deals.
