Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic HR Generalist (Human Resource Generalist) to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. This vital role encompasses a broad range of administrative and strategic responsibilities, aimed at fostering a compliant, efficient, and people-centered workplace. As an HR Generalist, you will ensure our HR practices align with current employment laws, develop and maintain essential HR documentation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, facilitating initiatives that enhance our employee experience. Your work will directly contribute to the supportive, high-performance environment we’re proud to offer at Filterbuy. Responsibilities Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and disciplinary notices Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and company regulations Maintaining accurate physical and digital employee records including benefits and attendance Supporting performance appraisal processes and updating compensation records accordingly Leading employee engagement initiatives, including planning and budgeting for activities and recognition programs Collaborating with external vendors, internal teams, and leadership to uphold corporate social responsibility (CSR) standards Conducting disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy and addressing employee grievances Ensuring company policies align with current labor laws and regulatory requirements Supporting recruitment and hiring efforts, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates Qualifications Strong knowledge of administrative and HR tasks Experience in a manufacturing or ecommerce environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/payroll software Resourceful thinker with strong problem‑solving capabilities Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills High emotional intelligence with the ability to coach and lead Analytical mindset with ability to use data to inform decisions Preferred Familiarity with Canadian labor laws and HR compliance standards Employee relations experience Bilingual (English/French) is a plus Company Overview We are a leading ecommerce company with a mission to deliver high‑quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
