Akelius owns rental apartments in New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Austin, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Ottawa, Paris, and London. Job Description Akelius is seeking a customer service-focused and highly organized Property Administrator to support a portfolio of residential properties in Montreal. The successful candidate will assist with property maintenance coordination while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Akelius standards. Property Administration - Manage the lease and legal administration process for the assigned portfolio - Support the Property Manager - Issue legal notices and manage corresponding deadlines - Maintain organized filing systems for tenants - Communicate professionally with tenants, business partners, and other stakeholders - Build and maintain positive tenant relationships - Process rent payments and cheque requisitions - Prepare and distribute notices - Prepare and issue lease renewals - Attend hearings at the local tenant rental board Who You Are - A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or Accounting is preferred, but we will consider other relevant combinations of experience and education. - Experience in residential or commercial property administration is an asset - Knowledge of Quebec or Ontario tenant laws is recommended - Strong command of both French and English - Knowledge and understanding of tenant board processes - Superior organizational and time management skills - Ability to multitask under competing deadlines - Confidence in taking initiative, making decisions, and managing arrears - Adaptable to an ever-changing environment - Proficient in Yardi Voyager (an asset) What We Offer annual salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 Permanent full-time position Health, dental, and vision insurance Group RRSP $100/month for transportation or mileage reimbursement Up to $750/year for your fitness activities (gym, Bixi, etc.) Training and professional development program This role is a growth role that is intended to be filled as soon as possible.
