Account Executives, Channel Account Managers, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Sales Operations work together to help customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences. We are seeking an exceptionally accomplished and visionary Majors Account Executive to join our Enterprise/Field Sales team. In this expert-level role you will drive our most strategic customer engagements, securing and expanding critical platform sales within focused accounts. You will demonstrate the highest level of sales proficiency, ensuring highly accurate forecasting, strategic pipeline management, and consistently exceeding attainment targets. You will be a subject matter expert who educates customers and partners about Cloudflare’s extensive product ecosystem and security platform, and you will engage with executives such as CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs to close complex, transformative opportunities. What You’ll Do Own and execute the most critical territory and account plans, consistently exceeding multi‑million dollar sales targets and annual quotas by closing large‑scale platform sales within highly focused, strategic accounts. Lead with unparalleled accuracy in forecasting and demonstrate mastery of proactive pipeline management, providing visionary insights that shape the direction of the sales organization. Showcase an expert‑level understanding of customer Enterprise Architecture across all four pillars (business, data, applications, technology) and map these to customer business models, articulating how Cloudflare fits into modern cloud operating models. Lead and orchestrate complex customer engagements across multiple business units, applying and managing executive sponsorship programs to influence CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs. Drive highly complex virtual teams that include Product Managers, VPs, and SVPs to manage and close the most strategic customer opportunities, proactively resolving organizational roadblocks. Serve as Cloudflare’s leading voice on digital transformation, engaging deeply with customers on their key drivers for change and spotting opportunities within broader market trends. Craft clear, cross‑department messaging, review performance, and provide feedback to enhance organizational outcomes. Consistently articulate how decisions will impact Cloudflare in the long term, modeling the highest expectations and standards. Proactively address internal and external needs to drive urgency and innovation company‑wide, challenging the status quo and leveraging new insights for continuous iteration. Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience 10+ years of expert‑level experience selling complex, multi‑million dollar technology solutions in a B2B enterprise model, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and closing transformative platform deals. In‑depth knowledge of the broader cybersecurity landscape and the ability to become an expert on Cloudflare’s entire product suite, providing expert education to customers and partners. Mastery in understanding Customer Enterprise Architecture (Business, Data, Applications, Technology) and adept at mapping solutions to complex business models and modern cloud operating environments. Proven ability to apply and manage executive sponsorship programs, engaging directly with CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs. Success in leading and orchestrating virtual teams comprising VPs and SVPs to manage and close the most strategic customer opportunities. Recognized authority on digital transformation, with a deep understanding of market trends and the ability to position Cloudflare as a critical partner in driving customer innovation. Exceptional strategic communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of delivering impactful messaging to the highest levels of customer and internal leadership.
