For our client, we are looking for someone to take on the role of:

SALES REPRESENTATIVE – OTTAWA & SURROUNDING AREAS

You will spearhead a new deployment for SUMO Cannabis , tasked with marketing and structuring sales for approved products and more. You will play a central role in expanding the market presence of SUMO Cannabis products in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Promote Sumo Cannabis’s unique service offer

Present and sell the products distributed by Sumo Cannabis

Judiciously qualify inbound leads

Build and maintain strong business relationships

Caring for existing customers by conducting occasional follow-ups to ensure their satisfaction and identify future opportunities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies

Identify and convert new business opportunities

Manage and maintain customer relations (opportunities, sales, activities, etc.)

Provide after-sales service

Establish a trust relationship with customers and support them

Keeping an eye out for business opportunities

Participate in regular meetings

CANDIDATE PROFILE

College diploma in management, commerce, administration, sales training with relevant experience (any other combination of education and experience will be considered)

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the cannabis industry or a related field

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships

Knowledge of the cannabis market in Ontario is a major asset

Proficiency with CRM tools and other business development software

Good computer skills (Office suite)

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic team environment

Proven entrepreneurial mindset and business leadership

Ambitious, fast learner, data-driven individual with a track record of success in sales and business development.

Ability to work independently while meeting established sales targets

Strong time management and organizational skills

Proactive and results-oriented attitude

High autonomy

Strong sense of initiative (seeking solutions, proposing new ideas)

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a permanent, full-time position

Flexible schedule, high level of autonomy

Remote position with occasional travel to the head office in Trois-Rivières, Québec

The working conditions and salary offered are very advantageous and will be based on the experience of the selected candidate
