Responsibilities:
Analyze new and existing accounts to assess credit risk; approve and set limits & payment terms in accordance with credit policy and authorization level.Assess creditworthiness and risk levels by reviewing financial statements, credit history, payment habits, earnings, savings, and spending patterns.Analyze market trend to track credit trends and provide insights to mitigate risks.Support Corporate Credit & Collection Manager to develop risk management strategies for portfolios.Support for automation and new initiatives for improved Credit and Collections process.Manage Credit KPI dashboard and reporting for higher management.Release orders daily based on the credit status of customer accounts.Initiate customer correspondence regarding outstanding customer credits.Make write-off/bad debt/outside collections recommendations to the Credit Manager.May train less experienced Credit team members.Enrollment or interest in credit & collections professional designation & continuing education preferred.Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in credit/collections in a multi BU environment.Experience of working with US, Canada and Mexico accounts.Proficient with using D&B and Equifax credit bureau reports.Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, etc.).Knowledge of credit & collections principles, processes, regulations, and standards.Strong understanding and abilities to understand/analyze commercial reports and data.Ability to make sound credit and collection recommendations regarding customer risk in a fast-paced environment.-
