This person helps turn compassion into action—bringing people together to support vulnerable pets and the families who love them.Plan and organize events such as garage sales, community markets, Pawtraits in the Park, Frosty Paws build days, and educational workshopsCoordinate fundraising campaigns, including seasonal drives, sponsorship appeals, and donor outreachCollaborate with team members to identify event needs, delegate tasks, and create timelinesSecure donations and sponsorships from local businesses, community members, and organizationsDevelop promotional materials (e.g., event blurbs, posters, social media content) in collaboration with the outreach teamTrack and acknowledge donors and sponsors, maintaining relationships for future engagementOversee event logistics, including supplies, set-up/tear-down, and volunteer coordinationSupport budget planning and cost tracking for events and fundraising initiativesAttend PAACT events when possible to assist with coordination and community engagementEvaluate and provide feedback after each event to improve future planningAge Requirements18 years old or aboveRequirementsDesired Qualities:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasksClear, professional communication (both written and verbal)Comfortable working independently and in a team settingCreativity and enthusiasm for community-buildingExperience in event planning, marketing, or fundraising is an asset but not requiredScheduleTime Commitment: Flexible; varies by season and event schedule. Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring that donated items and event materials are loaded safely and efficiently for transport to the event site.Impact: Your support helps PAACT prepare for one of its major fundraising initiatives, directly contributing to vital animal welfare programs in Southern Alberta.
