This evolution of our partnership will occur alongside our joint redevelopment work, as we strive to build a new acute care campus in the community. Working towards a shared vision Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital will join together as a merged hospital. All sites will be governed by the new, single organization following the planned merger of Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital in 2025.Led by the Integrated Executive Project Director Transition Management, the Integrated Transition Management Office (TMO) will work collaboratively across both Grand River and St. Mary’s General hospitals to plan, prepare for and execute the merger.We currently have three temporary full-time vacancies for Organizational Development & Change Consultant within Transition Management Office (TMO) at Grand River & St. Mary’s General Hospitals. These positions are anticipated to extend to November 27, 2026.How Organizational Development & Change Consultants support our teams:Acting as a subject matter expert on change management for the Transition Management Office (TMO), this position is responsible for developing, implementing and managing strategies that prepare, support and equip leaders, staff and physicians across our merging hospitals to engage and embed changes across business process, systems, job roles and organization structures.This position requires strong consulting and organizational skills, an in-depth knowledge of change management best practices, expertise in social and emotional intelligence, agile project management skills, familiarity with learning and organizational development best practices and exceptional communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.The Organizational Development & Change Consultant will bring the following:Undergraduate degree in business administration, I/O psychology, human resources, or related discipline.Change Management and Coaching Certifications or willingness to undertake these certifications.Significant exposure and applied expertise in leadership coaching, stakeholder consultation, employee engagement and feedback strategies, and user experience design.Exceptional social intelligence to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to effectively work with senior leadership.Grand River Hospital & St. Mary’s General Hospital support our Team Members with: Ongoing training and development opportunities.As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community from COVID-19, subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Grand River Hospital requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.Grand River Hospital is committed to fair and equitable employment and in our recruitment and selection practices.
