Role DescriptionSummary
Reporting to the Director, Sales and Health IT Solutions, the Account Manager, Pathology will be responsible for digital pathology solutions in Enterprise Imaging distributed by Christie Innomed across Canada.
The Account Manager will be responsible for the sales budget as defined for the applicable territory and will work closely with the Sales Director and multidisciplinary teams (marketing, products, services, etc.) to market, promote, and sell these solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete sales cycle, starting with identifying new opportunities and ending with supporting closing negotiations; they will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients, meeting sales quotas, and collaborating closely with other sales leads as well as the Medical Imaging Sales Manager to achieve results that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed established sales and revenue goals for designated territories in Canada, set in collaboration with the Sales Director.
- Produce monthly forecasts in collaboration with the Sales Director.
- Assist management in conducting product profitability analyses, testimonials, and the development of white papers with the Marketing team.
- Take responsibility and actively participate in evaluations of requests for proposals and submissions for requests for information in collaboration with the Sales Team members.
- Coordinate sales site visits, client presentations, and demonstrations.
- Organize annual road sales for our products in each relevant region, with the participation of Product Managers and Specialists, as needed.
- Participate in various local, national, and international conferences and seminars.
- Prepare sales and marketing reports as requested by the Sales Director.
- Prepare sales reports and pipeline reports.
- Report any information regarding products, the market, or competition and/or concerns to the Sales Director.
- Participate in national sales support and/or regional trade shows in which Christie Innomed and/or its distributors participate.
- Be responsible for reflecting the requirements related to our quality system.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Completed training in biomedical analysis technology.
- In-depth training in healthcare informatics.
- Experience in a customer service or technical sales role.
- Strong knowledge and skills in pathology and health informatics, as well as the ecosystem and stakeholders in pathology in Canada.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
Specific Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Member of the Professional Order of Medical Technologists of Quebec or equivalent at the Canadian/international level (an asset).
- Excellent presentation skills, both in content development and in delivering messages to senior executives.
- Established and successful sales skills.
- Demonstrated success in building/maintaining strong relationships with a high level of integrity and respect in the field.
