We are seeking an experienced Cloud Service Compliance Analyst to join our team, working closely with a Big Five Bank.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, strong regulatory and compliance standards experience, and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:
  • Risk Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough reviews of cloud services to identify areas of risk, select services for stakeholders' assessment, and document findings in a centralized location.
  • Meetings and Minutes: Coordinate meetings and take minutes throughout the stakeholders review and approval process of cloud services, maintaining documentation currency as new updates become available.
  • Review and Approval Follow-up: Follow up on outstanding reviews and approvals with relevant teams to meet the requirements of the Bank Standards.
  • Cloud Services Alignment: Work cross-functionally within the Bank to identify new cloud services for customers and align them to the overall goals of the cloud services.
  • Gaps and Billing Analysis: Identify and report on gaps in the cloud services catalogue and billing, developing action plans to address them.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Provide periodic feedback as new cloud services are added for use in the Bank.
  • Process Improvement: Propose changes or improvements to the existing cloud services cataloguing process.
  • Metric Development: Participate in the development of metrics to monitor various Standards and report on the compliance status of the Standards.
  • Compliance Issue Review: Review and analyze recurring compliance issues, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Dashboards and KPIs: Assist in developing dashboards to showcase key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) of cloud services compliance posture to management.
  • Data Control: Maintain robust data control around relied-upon information to ensure the integrity of the process needed to support compliance monitoring and reporting.
  • Project Management: Manage small projects end-to-end by integrating stakeholders' needs, adapting to changes, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with other risk and compliance managers within the Bank to understand changing regulatory requirements.
  • Status Reporting: Reconcile previous engagement reports with relevant compliance managers and report on new statuses as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform other general administrative functions within the cloud services team as assigned.
  • JIRA Utilization: Utilize JIRA to manage compliance-related tasks and monitor workflows through to completion.

Key Qualifications:

  • Cloud Technology Knowledge: Strong knowledge of common cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to analyze risk requirements and relate them to measurable metrics for easy tracking of success.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with various teams within cloud services.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization ability.
  • Financial Institutions Experience: Knowledge of Financial Institutions Standards and processes will be an asset.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Continuous Improvement: Committed to working in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye on continuous improvement.
  • O365 Knowledge: Strong knowledge of O365 will be an added advantage.
  • Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Jira Experience: Experience with utilizing Jira.
  • Professional Experience: 3 years of professional experience is an asset.

Interview Process: Interviews will take place in two rounds during the same week this month.
