Regulatory Compliance Analyst Job Description

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our team.

About the Job:

  • This role involves conducting technical analysis of new and existing controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience as a Technical Analyst and be proficient in using low-code tools like Power Platforms.
  • This position requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication experience, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough technical analysis of new and existing controls, evaluating attributes for classification, implementation, and monitoring to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Play a critical role in fulfilling obligations related to US Reg Remediation and Promontory findings, ensuring timely completion of activities to maintain compliance.
  • Develop and implement solutions using low-code tools like Power Platforms, Power BI, and Power Automate, enhancing control processes' efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage key deliverables, performing detailed analysis to support project goals and ensuring accurate, on-time completion.
  • Contribute to various project initiatives, collaborating with team members to achieve objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  • Perform technical analysis of technology controls and processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending enhancements to optimize control mechanisms and ensure robust compliance.
  • Implement monitoring mechanisms to track control performance, utilizing tools like Power BI to create reports and dashboards providing insights into control effectiveness and compliance status.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, internal teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of control measures.
  • Document technical analysis, solutions, and processes clearly and comprehensively, providing training and support to team members and stakeholders on new controls and solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8 years of experience as a Technical Analyst.
  • Experience working with large text-based data sets.
  • Experience with Power Platforms (including Power BI).

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior financial institution experience.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Stakeholder communication experience.
  • Time management experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
