CEDA is looking for a full time Recruitment Specialist to join our team out of our Calgary location. This role is responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies partnering with hiring leaders across Canada and the U.S. and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience from start to finish. Apply now and be part of an established organization recognized as one of Canadas Best Managed CompaniesWhat we offerExcellent benefits and matching pension contributions starting on your first dayMonday to Friday 40 hours per week with the flexibility to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from homeCEDAs Office is located along the scenic Bow River A collaborative and supportive team culture that encourages learning and growthA dynamic role that blends corporate recruitment project-based field deployment and employer brand strategy and developmentKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with hiring leaders to develop targeted and impactful recruitment strategies tailored to each specific role ensuring successful placement of qualified candidates in vacant positionsPartner with hiring leaders from all of CEDAs regions and services lines (Canada and US) to develop job descriptions and advertisements that accurately reflect the ideal candidate profile (or something)Assess job descriptions against market data or seek compensation review when necessaryEnsure a high-quality recruitment process with integrity and approvals in line with CEDAs proceduresManage candidates including internal direct referrals and facilitate interviews with guidance on selection decisionsProvide verbal offers and write and delivery written employment offer lettersAttend career fairs conferences and establish relationships with industry contacts schools and universitiesSupport social media recruitment campaigns by creating engaging brand-aligned content to attract top talent and promote CEDAs culture and career opportunitiesOther duties as assigned some travel is requiredRole Specifications3-5 years experience in recruitment (talent acquisition) or people-facing human resources roleBachelors degree in business administration human resources or equivalent is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)We value candidates who not only possess experience in the industrial or oilfield service sector but also align with our companys culture which strongly supports and empowers field-based employeesValid Class 5 Drivers licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is requiredSkillsResponsiveness and urgency awareness able to act quickly on time-sensitive hiring needs and maintain momentum in the recruitment processCandidate-focused mindset ensuring a smooth and engaging experience throughout the hiring processA true team player self-motivated ready to jump in where needed take the lead on new initiatives and contribute to ongoing improvementsBuilds strong relationships and handles tough situations with ease while exercising discretionThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
