Purpose of the position:

Currently, we are looking for a Maintenance Director. Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:
  1. Schedule and ensure that preventive maintenance is performed on equipment
  2. Supervise the maintenance of the equipment
  3. Maintain and clean the premises
  4. Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
  5. Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
  6. Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to immediate superior
  7. Actively participate in various company committees
  8. Know and apply company policies and procedures
  9. Organize or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
  10. Be available to respond to emergencies
  11. Management of the maintenance, upkeep, and laundry team
Qualifications:
  • A DEP in general building maintenance (as an asset)
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience
  • A working knowledge of building maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and minor repairs
  • Experience in personnel management
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (an asset)
