We function on an hybrid model: Mondays‑Wednesdays‑Thursdays is the opportunity to connect in person. About the role You will report to the CRO and lead a team of 8 outbound BDRs. Your role is to build a confident, high energy team that creates pipeline through great prospecting. You will partner with RevOps to build smart target lists that keep us focused on our ICP, and you will leverage tech, AI, and data to refine our playbook so reps spend more time selling. You stay in the weeds with the team, coach daily, build momentum, and help everyone win together. Who you are Brings exceptional passion and drive: work is more than a job; it’s a true calling. Analytical and metrics first, then a sales coach Proven track record in leading and developing a team Addicted to outbound, does not wait for inbound or marketing leads to come in, not afraid of picking up the phone Can handle a high volume and high velocity outbound machine in the mid‑market range ($5–50k ARR) Obsessed with customer and market insights, true customer mindset Scaling our prospecting capacity through AI and automation. We have a well‑oiled outbound machine that has driven strong growth for the past 10 years. We need to keep increasing capacity and modernize our tech and processes with profitability in mind Juggling the optimization of an existing playbook while exploring new markets. We are on a high‑growth journey and must continuously explore new markets and ICPs Key Responsibilities Strategy Development & Execution: Design and implement outbound prospecting strategies that align with the company’s sales and marketing goals, targeting the right industries and buyer personas. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the BDR team to ensure they meet their individual and team‑level KPIs, including outreach, meetings booked, and qualified leads. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor the performance of the BDR team using KPIs and CRM tools, providing regular feedback, reporting on team metrics, and identifying areas for improvement. Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align on campaign strategies, messaging, and lead handoff processes. Ensure smooth collaboration and communication across departments. Coaching & Development: Provide regular 1:1 coaching sessions to improve prospecting techniques, communication, and qualification skills. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. Lead Qualification & Handoff: Oversee lead qualification to ensure high‑quality prospects are passed to the sales team, optimizing conversion rates and pipeline health. Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve outbound processes, tools, and team workflows to increase efficiency and lead quality. Hiring & Onboarding: Participate in hiring and onboarding of new BDRs, ensuring they are set up for success and integrated into the team effectively. You have the following Familiarity with key sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sales, Solution Selling, or SPIN Selling) Experience managing cross‑functional initiatives between sales and marketing teams Data‑driven and analytical, with strong reporting and forecasting skills Analytical / data‑informed Desire to win / grit Passion Management maturity / courage Decisive and confident in judgment Bilingual English‑French an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
