Job Description:

Employee Relations Specialists are responsible for performing various key HR functions within the Employee Relations portfolio areas of responsibility. These functions include workplace investigations, essential services planning and negotiations, policy development and consultation include, harassment training, education, and intervention strategies, and performance management of out-of-scope employees. Employee Relations Specialists must work cross functionally within the portfolio, across the organization, with Unions, with external consultants, and with government, to support operations. The Employee Relations portfolio is a provincial portfolio and services provided will be throughout Saskatchewan. There will be a regular demand for decisions/action, some of which will be undertaken with limited information and unpredictable outcomes. The Employee Relations Specialists must re-evaluate priorities frequently given complex communication patterns and resource restraints.

Human Resources Exemption:
