Communications and Marketing CoordinatorThe Communications and Marketing Coordinator supports the team in executing a variety of marketing and communication initiatives. Responsibilities may evolve based on the company’s needs. This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave (approximately 12 months).Main ResponsibilitiesContent Production and DistributionContribute to the creation and distribution of content across various channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, SharePoint, press releases, and promotional campaigns.Update and maintain FOLKS and Square One’s websites and social media platforms.Support the rollout of digital and social media promotional campaigns.Conduct regular media monitoring to identify relevant news, trends, and opportunities.Share external content internally (via Viva Engage) to help strengthen company culture.Support SEO optimization for websites such as folksvfx.com, squareone.la, and pitchblackcompany.com.Language, Editing, and Brand ConsistencyTranslate internal and external communications into French and Spanish, ensuring accuracy and clarity.Proofread all communications and ensure consistency in tone, style, and brand voice across all materials.Administrative and Coordination SupportProvide administrative support to the team, including managing the shared inbox, tracking partnerships, distributing materials, and coordinating internal requests.Assist in preparing communication tools and supporting materials for FOLKS and Square One projects.Marketing and Communication StrategySupport the implementation of marketing, communication, and public relations initiatives to enhance the visibility of FOLKS and Square One.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.Excellent proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to different contexts.Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is a strong asset.Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, digital marketing, and web tools.Solid understanding of social media platforms.Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Canva, and Prezi – an asset.Key StrengthsTeam-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.Autonomous and proactive, with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.Curious, creative, and eager to learn.Positive, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Employment detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: TemporaryJob function: MarketingIndustries: Media ProductionPointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
