Project Description: Create SOPs for all users of the new Personnel Security Processing System (PSPS) outlining new business and system processes aligned with TBS policies.

Must Haves: Technical Writer

Department of National Defence

(2+ years) Process, procedures, and training documents. (2+ years) Standard operating procedures (SOPs)

for a security screening organization (1+ year) Secret Clearance Diploma or Degree related to Technical Writing.

Responsibilities: Review and analyze source documents; research past efforts; adopt user manual outputs of the Personnel Security Processing System (PSPS). Interview and consult with multiple subject matter experts of each business unit to collect procedural information and current processes in place, and plan changes based on this feedback. Re-develop a table of contents with hyperlinks to appropriate sections. Create appropriate graphics and diagrams where needed. Generate live web-links to enable access by employees on the DND Intranet website.
