We go beyond expectations — mitigating risks, reducing financial obligations, and maximizing value for our clients.Join SECURE, where we step up to make a meaningful difference in the industries we serve and the world we share.Your Opportunity at SECUREAs our Facility Administrator, you will be responsible for performing a broad range of functions in support of the efficient and effective operation of a metals recycling facility.This role is based out of Edmonton ABWork EnvironmentThis is a full time Monday to Friday role with rotating Saturdays.A Day in The LifeDevelop and maintain comprehensive knowledge and skill in employing scrap purchasing and management softwareCreate, manage and payout scale ticketsWeigh trucks and customers in and outVisibly inspect every incoming load for non-metallics and hazardous or prohibited materialUsing a radio, control customer unloading operations in the yardCreate bills of lading for outgoing truck shipmentsInteract in a collaborative and cooperative manner with: the dispatcher, truck drivers, equipment operators, the logistics team, supervisors and management.Handle customer inquiries regarding scrap metal pricing in a prompt, courteous and professional mannerSecondary ResponsibilitiesProvide backup support to the Accounts Payable (AP) team during scale downtime, staff absences, vacation coverage or unexpected absences. These tasks would include processing customer payments, printing statements, and handling AP related tasks.Assist front counter operations when front desk staff are unavailable, such as greeting and directing visitors, helping customers to collect in-person cash payments from ATM machine, answering phones and routing calls.Skills, Experience & QualificationsExcellent customer service skills are requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredProven ability to handle multiple priorities and ability to prioritize tasksStrong attention to detailSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite and data, including Microsoft ExcelAdministration experience is preferredMust be self-motivated and able to function in a fast-paced exciting team environmentMust be able to conduct physical tasks, including climbing up on trucks to inspect loadsA valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are requiredPrevious metal recycling experience would be an assetPrevious scale attendant experience would be an assetWhat's in it for youAt SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
