Description:
Under the direction of the Senior Vice President – Business Development, the VP – Client Relationships assists the Business Development Team with the execution of fund marketing strategies and capital raising for ACM. The Vice President – Client Relationships will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills who is eager to provide best-in-class client servicing.

Key Responsibilities / Functions:

  1. Implementation of all marketing and sales strategies for ACM funds;
  2. Undertake research, update, and maintain ACM's database of leads and contacts focusing on the Quebec, Atlantic and Ottawa, Ontario markets;
  3. Aid in the development of marketing materials, with translations to French, in compliance with the requirements of the respective Securities Act(s);
  4. In conjunction with the Business Development Team, respond to incoming requests for product information on a timely basis including formal RFPs;
  5. Execute on a disciplined lead generation program involving targeted research, emails, phone calls, and follow-ups;
  6. Provide in-person and remote presentations to prospects as required in French or English;
  7. Implementation of all relationship management programs, including annual lunches and special events for clients;
  8. In conjunction with the Client Servicing Team, track updates to client accounts and requests for servicing;
  9. Assist the Client Servicing Team in the monthly subscription closing process including follow-up with clients for any missing information;
  10. Deliver customized monthly, quarterly, and annual updates to investment advisors and other current clients as required in French and/or English;
  11. Network at industry conferences.

What you bring to the team:

  1. 5-10 years of experience preferred in a similar role or role with similar attributes in the investment management industry;
  2. Bachelor of Commerce, or equivalent;
  3. Completed Canadian Securities Course;
  4. CFA charter holder or MBA is an asset;
  5. First-rate interpersonal skills;
  6. Sound knowledge of marketing and sales practices for financial products;
  7. Excellent computer skills;
  8. Must excel in a team environment;
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English;
  10. Prior experience in commercial mortgages and with Microsoft Dynamics CRM are bonuses;
  11. Must be willing to travel.
