We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President Operations to join our team at Stonewood Group Inc. in Montreal, Canada.

About the Role:

The Senior Vice President Operations will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution and scaling of our manufacturing operations to meet the company's growth objectives. This will involve evaluating existing systems, processes, and metrics to recommend and implement continuous improvement mechanisms and disciplines that minimize production costs and waste while maximizing production and quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve processes
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies
  • Manage and oversee the maintenance and servicing of production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
  • Develop and implement quality processes and standards to ensure excellence in products and services
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering process management, and process improvement
  • Experience in implementing best practices in operations, quality systems, and engineering in multi-plant environments
  • Significant change management and business transformation experience in mid-sized and private businesses
  • Project management experience beneficial
