This is a 6 month contract with strong chance of extension or permanent at the end of the contractAbout the OpportunityLead IFRS month-end closing processes and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statementAccounting for capital assets under IFRS - IAS 16Prepare necessary journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports for month-end related to key GL accounts which includes Capital assets and inventoryLead the external audit process, including liaising with our external auditors.Execute timely compliance reporting, board reporting and audited financial statement issuance.Preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including analysis of performance, variance and YTD results Maintain the fixed asset register.About YouBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, a CPA or CA, strongly preferred.IFRS reporting experience, specifically IAS 16Experience accounting for Fixed asset 5 years of experience working in complex and fast-paced environmentsPrior experience working in a similar role Experience with large ERP and Advanced Excel skills
