The Opportunity 

Working closely with a busy People & Performance team, we have a new opportunity for a People & Performance Coordinator. While this position will be based out of Ausenco’s Burlington office, you will provide support across our North America offices.

This is a dynamic position requiring exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on customer service. You are not afraid to tackle assignments with a sense of focus and enjoy challenging and interesting work. You have experience working in an administrative or customer service role and are successful at building relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.

About the Role

Induction

  • Take charge of the induction process, ensuring new hires feel welcome and informed from day one. You'll coordinate notifications, collaborate with hiring managers, prepare and collect necessary paperwork, conduct engaging onboarding orientations, and keep checklists and spreadsheets up to date.
  • Work alongside P&P Advisors to address standard candidate inquiries, ensuring a smooth transition for all new hires.

Records and Reporting

  • Co mplete internal forms for onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain employee files thoroughly and ensure they are regularly updated.
  • Run and analyse HR reports to provide valuable insights for the team.

Graduate Program

  • Collaborate with Advisors to support our North American graduate program, helping to shape the next generation of professionals.
  • Organize and facilitate program activities, including rotations, professional development sessions, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to program participants, helping them thrive and succeed.

  Benefits Management

  • Be the go-to person for all benefit-related inquiries, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Maintain and update all benefit forms as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Issue benefit change letters promptly and assist with benefit surveys to gather employee feedback.
  • Oversee RRSP eligibility and enrolment, ensuring employees are well-informed and enrolled on time.

About you

  • Minimum 1+ years of administrative or customer service experience preferably working in a professional service environment
  • Completion or working towards a diploma in Human Resources Management
  • Excellent attitude and willingness to tackle any challenge
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with tact and diplomacy when dealing with individuals
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
