Summary: We are seeking a motivated and personable Business Development Associate to join our team as a volunteer. This role involves identifying and building relationships with channel partners, such as wedding planners and wedding photographers specializing in South Asian weddings/events, and creating awareness of our services. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in business development and relationship management within a dynamic environment. Additionally, there is an opportunity to be hired as a part-time associate within four/six months of volunteering, depending on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying Channel Partners:
    1. Research and identify potential channel partners, including wedding planners and photographers specializing in South Asian weddings/events.
    2. Compile and maintain a database of potential partners and their contact information.
  2. Building Relationships:
    1. Initiate contact with potential partners through email, phone calls, and meetings.
    2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners to foster collaboration.
    3. Present and explain the benefits of partnering with our organization.
  3. Creating Awareness:
    1. Develop and execute strategies to create awareness among channel partners about our services.
    2. Prepare and distribute marketing materials tailored to the needs of South Asian wedding/event planners and photographers.
    3. Organize and participate in events, webinars, and other activities to promote our organization and build partner relationships.
  4. General Support:
    1. Provide general administrative support to the business development team, including scheduling meetings and taking minutes.
    2. Assist with preparing reports and presentations related to business development activities.
    3. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of business development strategies.
