Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy, Insights & Transformation, the Director Revenue Management will act as an enterprise change agent & thought leader for Danone Canada through RGM mapping and recommendations supporting our growth initiatives. The candidate will lead the transformation of our process and will also be responsible for the evolution of an enterprise RGM mindset, with focus on developing RGM solutions on category/channel/segment execution, translation of data and local insights into recommended channel pack initiatives to be imbedded into the Category plans, and scalable tools to facilitate investment assessment and prioritization.

  • Responsible for the development and execution of a multi-year, multi-category RGM strategic plan aligned to deliver long-term organizational and financial objectives and short-term annual planning process
  • Advance the RGM pillar throughout the enterprise driving process, execution, and accountability
  • Responsible for the analysis and score carding of performance tracking metrics linked to ROI on volume, price, promotional optimization, mix, trade
  • Identify price, pack, mix, and trade opportunities at national and customer levels facilitating revenue growth across all categories/all channels.
  • Lead solution-based recommendations on all RGM pillars to capture value through unlocking new occasions prioritized on key financial and shopper considerations
  • Work in close collaboration with Sales, Commercial Strategy, Marketing (categories), and Finance to drive topline growth and margin expansion aligned with RGM vision and strategy
  • Lead and develop a team with collective expertise to manage all strategic, operational, tactical, and administrative elements of revenue growth management within a highly collaborative environment.

About you

Core Skills For Role Success

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required. Degree specialty in Business strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in RGM or comparable discipline roles, with responsibility in sales, commercial strategy and trade spend management required, preferably spent in FMCG
  • 4+ years of direct leadership experience required, with demonstrated significant initiative, tenacity, transformational thinking.
  • Proven execution with excellence in profitable category growth planning
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen
  • Highly Proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Advanced communication (verbal and written) and negotiation, skills with the ability to lead internal communications, meetings, and influence senior level and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Ability & proven experience in leading cross-functional transformations
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
