To support these initiatives, our Talent Acquisition Partners (TAP) work with leaders from the business to define needs, provide input to recruitment strategies and provide the highest level of recruitment services to Leaders and employees. As a trusted advisor, our TAPs provide coaching and counsel to leaders on HR solutions that contribute to the goals of the business unit. They support a high performing and engage working environment. Building strong links between recruitment and business strategy, our TAPs act as advisors to department leaders in developing talent acquisition strategy that support the unique needs of the organization.

This is how you can make an impact:

  • Acting as lead point of contact for the full cycle recruitment process within the portfolio, including but not limited to developing the job posting, sourcing, pre-employment testing/screening, conducting interviews, selecting candidates, and completing the hiring process in our HRIS (Dayforce).
  • Providing an agency like recruitment service which includes intake meetings, preparing recruitment strategy, regular communication of updates and ensuring an ethical process is followed.
  • Coaching leaders though the recruitment and selection process.
  • Meeting with key stakeholders including leaders, to understand the business needs, core competencies and skills required to be successful in the vacant role.
  • As a trusted coach/advisor, proactively identify issues and solutions.
  • Developing and managing talent pipelines though the use of recruitment tools, networking in the community at job fair events, networking with stakeholders at education institutions and with community partners.
  • Partnering with our People & Culture team members to support initiatives with a variety of programs in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Enablement, Employee Experience, Compensation, Benefits, and HR Analytics.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Post-secondary education in Commerce or Business Administration with a preference for a focus in human resources or related courses
  • 2 + years of experience providing a professional standard of recruitment service
  • Experience with talent sourcing (Recruitment agency experience is considered an asset)
  • Adept at building client/stakeholder relationships
  • Resourceful tendencies along with attention to detail
