The Provincial Population & Public Health, Communicable Disease Control Program (CDC) is currently recruiting an Administrative Support IV position to support the CDC program. Administrative support duties include: providing administrative support to team members within an assigned area of the CDC program; calendar management, scheduling and rotation support; document preparation and clinical resources; meeting preparations and support; arrange and organize equipment for new staff, arrange for necessary training and accesses; receiving and processing notifiable disease laboratory reports and outbreak data, inputting data into various information systems and databases, reviewing data for quality assurance standards; performing timekeeping/payroll data entry and following up on discrepancies and inquiries related to timekeeping. You will demonstrate strong communication, professionalism; demonstrate critical thinking, time management, confliction resolution, and decision-making skills; exercise judgment, discretion and independent decision making across a spectrum of activities; accurately collect and document information in a timely manner; be adaptable in an environment with constant interruptions and short timelines; show accountability and attention to detail; and foster collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team. Successful candidates must be able to work on site and in person on rotation to your assigned CDC office.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Communicable Disease Control (CDC) Administrative Support program experience of at least one year within the last 2 years (notifiable disease, outbreak reporting, and/or immunization administrative support). Demonstrated advanced experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Teams, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel, specifically utilizing formulas, pivot tables and manipulating data in a fast-paced professional environment. Experience using Netcare, Meditech, CDOM, and ESP.
