We are currently recruiting a full-time Bookkeeping/Office Administrator to join in our head office in Calgary, AB. This position will fulfill the duties stated below in a full cycle of bookkeeping/accounting and will be assigned to our newly established joint venture company – ecoAI innovates Inc. – Artificial Intelligence (AI) based environmental solutions provider.

[Responsibilities]
• Routine Bookkeeping: Financial data entry and maintenance, account receivables and payables, credit and collection, and payroll processing.
• Project Billing: Assist project managers in preparing draft invoices based on project daily tickets / timesheet entered in accounting software and providing work-in-progress financial data for budget control.
• Internal/External Filing: Bank reconciliation, preparation of Notice to Reader and Engagement working files for an external chartered accountant, regular external files such as GST, deduction remittance and T4/T5.
• Treasury Assistance: Assist corporate executives in providing real-time corporate/project financial data including AP/AR and account balance.
• Other Financial / Administrative Duties: other related duties as assigned including, but not limited to corporate data filing and management, account/payment management for WCB, insurance, employee health benefits as well as office monthly expenditures and procurement.

[Qualifications and Skills]
• Post-secondary diploma and certificate in accounting and/or business administration related studies.
• Language requirements: native or professional proficiency in Korean is an asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience related to bookkeeping/accounting is an asset and abilities in multi-tasking.
• Experience and proficiency with standard accounting software (e.g. Quick Book).
• Availability to be on site from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
• Strong accuracy in data entry, communication, and sound business judgment skills.
• Written references from former immediate supervisors.
