Job Description

Toast is recruiting for a leading ticketing and event management software company that helps venues and organizers create seamless and connected experiences for their customers. By combining innovative software and hardware, this company delivers an integrated platform for ticket sales and event management. They are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead and drive their sales team. This leadership role will focus on developing and executing sales strategies, mentoring the sales team, and advising on key negotiations and deals to ensure the continued growth of the company.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the CEO to drive business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and support Account Executives, conducting daily standups and guiding their development.
  • Participate in leadership and quarterly off-site meetings to set goals and strategic direction.
  • Provide expert guidance on contract negotiations and deal-closing strategies to help secure key sales.
  • Stay current on industry trends and share insights and best practices with the sales team.
  • Assist with sales demonstrations and presentations as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior sales role.
  • Proven experience leading sales teams or departments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the event management or ticketing industry is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is required.
  • In-depth understanding of sales cycles, processes, and effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders across various levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure.
  • Passion for leadership, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing sales professionals.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a focus on fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
